Legal aspect of online gambling in some countries, an overview

Online gambling, even though has been widely spread all over the world, is still arguable and debatable in its legal aspect. Each country has its own regulation for online gambling. Hence, it is difficult to categorize countries that belong to what type and another. Some countries fully allow online gambling with no limitation, some are a bit restricting in some rules and some others are totally prohibiting their inhabitants.
Some of those countries who allow online gambling under government supervision are Australia, Antigua, United Kingdom, Costa Rica, Russia, Ireland, Macau, Singapore and some others. While some countries who do not have laws against gambling, except done in public places, are Italy, Philippines, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, and Chezh Republic. Then, many other countries who prohibit their local inhabitants to gamble within national border, but allow them to play internationally. Those countries are Switzerland, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, North Korea, Colombia, Iceland, Norway, Argentine, Brazil, and some others.
Many countries ban their local market to provide online gambling for local inhabitants, but do not restrict the international players to play. These are the intentions of getting taxes and fees from the international players and the prohibition toward local inhabitants is intended to prevent gambling problems that might occur socially or economically in their countries.
Other countries do prohibit their local inhabitants to gamble at all. These countries include Hongkong and New Zealand. While in Indonesia itself, gambling is prohibited through current laws, yet, some people still play gambling concerning the loose of laws Indonesia has. Rhythm
